Oren Wool, VP, Sustainability
Passionate about finding solutions that allow both enterprise and the Earth to prosper, Oren is committed to driving data center de-carbonization innovations that enable Quantum Loophole customers to meet their business goals while lowering their environmental impact.
Oren has over 20 years of experience in community engagement and civic affairs. He is the founder and Executive Director of Sustainable North Bay (SNB), a California collaborative working with local leaders in education, government, the nonprofit world and traditional businesses. SNB acts as a catalyst to unleash the economic power of enterprise on solving critical challenges like food scarcity, housing access, and climate adaptation and mitigation. Additionally, Oren is an integrator for One Planet Living, a sustainability framework that aims to make big issues approachable enough to solve.
Experienced in international supply chain logistics, fair trade manufacturing, and organic agriculture, Oren brings a history of entrepreneurial and managerial skills to Quantum Loophole. He’s an Open Source advocate and Front End hobbyist who got his start with HTML and Notepad.
Oren has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama. He serves as the Board Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council Redwood Empire Chapter, which promotes sustainability in building design, construction, and operation.
Oren is based in the sustainability wonderland of Sonoma County, California.
